WHO WE ARE

BRAZILIAN KIDS KARE (BKK)

WELCOME!

THIS IS THE BKK FAMILY.

When you do something for others, you are doing something for you. Therefore, helping children and teenagers all over Brazil is not just what we do, it's who we are. It's not just about projects; it's in our DNA. Our identity is their happiness.

So who are we? BKK is a non-profit association that operates in Brazil, caring for children and teenagers in four ways: orphanages, afterschool projects, community outreach, and missions.

The orphanages provide care and protection when many of these children and teenagers need to be removed from their original families.

Meanwhile, the afterschool projects promote healthy social interaction and holistic development: ethical, moral, social, cultural, and spiritual values.

HOW EVERYTHING STARTED

When indifference cries out for change.

It was supposed to be just another trip, but it was that encounter in 2014 that changed everything. Reinhard and Debi Hirtler came face to face with a shocking reality in São Luís (MA). Children living in desperate situations.

How could they just leave? They couldn't. Action was needed. And from the dream of transforming reality and opening at least 100 locations in regions of high vulnerability in Brazil, Brazilian Kids Kare (BKK) was born.

Currently, the association fully supports all its branches, from establishment to maintenance, thanks to God and the dedication and support of people committed to changing lives.
