Brazilian Kids Kare is a non-profit association dedicated to the care, protection, and empowerment of children and teenagers in situations of vulnerability through orphanages, afterschool programs, community outreach and missions.
Children and teenagers in situations of social vulnerability are those who experience the consequences of:
- Social inequalities;
- Poverty and social exclusion;
- A lack of emotional connections within their families and others social environments;
- An abrupt transition from childhood to adulthood;
- Limited access to education, employment, healthcare, leisure, nutrition, and culture;
- Scarcity of basic material resources for survival;
- Early entry into the workforce;
- Exploitation through child labor;

- High rates of academic underachievement and school dropout;
- Exposure to substance abuse, possession of weapons, and involvement in drug trafficking.

Our association promotes practical and high-quality intellectual education, from ensuring enrollment in local schools, offering guidance from instructors and social caregivers, and supporting each beneficiary throughout their academic journey.
Protection to care
Our orphanages provide the necessary support for children and teenagers who have had to be removed from their family environment, ensuring a protective and nurturing atmosphere, a right they deserve.

In the beginning, Victor couldn't communicate properly, didn't socialize with adults or children. When people came to our house, he would go to his room and close the door. Today, he is a very communicative child. The impact of this place on Victor's life is enormous! He has also improved a lot in his literacy. He says, 'Mom, the food here is very good. I ate and ate and had seconds,' he says."

"It has been a remarkable transformation in my children's lives. My older son used to be quite a handful, but now his behavior is entirely different. He's become very polite. You've had a tremendous impact on them. His behavior at school wasn't the best either. The teacher even suggested he might not pass to the next grade. However, during his vacation he attended the project and a month after he returned to school, he had made significant progress in both reading and behavior. I also want to express my gratitude to the staff for their wonderful treatment of our children. I wouldn't know where my children would be today if it weren't for this project. Thanks to each one of you, they have become entirely different individuals. Thank you very much!"
