Temporary homes that provide care, protection, and a home to children and teenagers in situations of vulnerability when their families can no longer provide these conditions. These orphanages are regulated and overseen by the state with the aim of ensuring the well-being and healthy development of the children until they can be reintegrated into their families, adopted, or reach the legal age of adulthood.

Not widely known, São Luís is a unique island city in northeastern Brazil. Amidst its numerous tourist attractions, children and adolescents often lack even the most fundamental support. Our orphanage on São Luís Island can accommodate up to 20 children who receive daily nourishment, care, and love.

Artur Nogueira - SP
Since the beginning of 2024, Lar Renascer in Artur Nogueira has been part of the Brazilian Kids Kare family. The orphanage includes children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 years and 11 months, referred by the Juvenile Court or the Guardianship Council, ensuring full protection based on the ECA (Statute of the Child and Adolescent). With a capacity for up to 10 residents, the work is carried out in partnership with the local assistance network and is supported by a skilled team consisting of a coordinator, psychologist, social worker, cook, and caregivers.

The orphanage in Santo André, opened on September 6, 2024, provides care for children and adolescents aged 0 to 17 years and 11 months. With a capacity to house up to 20 residents, the unit works in partnership with the local assistance network, the Juvenile Court, and the Guardianship Council.

The After-School Project in Penedo was officially inaugurated on September 30, 2024, in the quilombola community of Tabuleiro dos Negros, located in Penedo, Alagoas. This initiative was envisioned and planned to support children in vulnerable situations and promote educational, recreational, community, and spiritual activities. In addition to workshops and educational actions, the project offers moments of reflection, prayer, Bible reading, and worship, encouraging children and their families to develop a deeper connection with God and to understand Christian values such as love, respect, and hope.
